[dltr] Death and Letters. [Henry Gamadge] First published in book form in 1950. A woman imprisoned in her in-laws estate in the country manages to get a message to Gamadge hidden in a crossword puzzle. Gamadge does not know her, but its clear she knows of Gamadge via a woman who Gamadge had assisted in the past. This leads to a rescue and then to the discovery of a murderer, all revolving on love letters from a not-quite-major Victorian poet.
