[pmll] The Case of the Lucky Legs. [Perry Mason] First published in book form in February 1934. A con man runs contests in "small towns" looking for the most beautiful legs in the world; the prize is a movie contract, the victims the local chamber of commerce. The winners are incidental victims, ending up in LA with no employment. When murder results there are lots of suspects, and they all lie to Mason. Mason really skirts the law in this one.
